- 2.5 lbs snow crab meat (cooked and shredded)
- 1 lb pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- Zest of 1 lemon (or more, for extra freshness)
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant (about 1–2 minutes). Stir in the heavy cream, white wine (or chicken broth), and lemon zest. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Combine with Crab and Pasta: Add the shredded snow crab meat to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, letting it melt into the sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta, mixing well to coat everything. Add a splash of reserved pasta water to thin the sauce, if needed.
- Season and Garnish: Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Serve: Divide into servings, garnish with extra Parmesan, parsley, and lemon wedges.
